patio season

I mentioned  a new restaurant called Spork in one of my previous posts, and well…it opened today!!! I am super excited to try this new “roadside eatery” in Plano/North Dallas. The menu consists 5 of my most favorite things: burgers, salads, sandwiches, cocktails and shakes. With its neon-outer space theme, it seems like a perfect place to enjoy a casual meal on the patio with friends. Spork’s 150-seat patio features a 10-player foosball table, bocce ball court, putting green, and ping-pong tables. Impressive right?

Needless to say, I’m probably a little too excited about Spork, but in my humble opinion a spring-time dining experience doesn’t get much better than a build your own burger bar, craft cocktails, and a massive outdoor area with yard-games.  Now that the warm months, aka: utopia, are upon us, I have a feeling you’ll frequently find me on this patio enjoying some type of sandwich with avocado and bacon on it and a refreshing beverage.
